BandPass
A connected fitness platform designed end-to-end for a new generation of resistance band training. BandPass pairs intelligent Bluetooth hardware with a mobile app that guides workouts, tracks band strain in real time, and delivers the kind of structured performance data that turns casual users into consistent athletes.

Brand & Aestehtic
BandPass commissioned Kayen Peppa to design the full visual identity and product experience for a connected fitness platform built around intelligent resistance band training. The goal was to create a brand that felt premium, performance-driven, and distinctly modern — standing apart from the crowded fitness app market through a confident visual language rather than conventional health and wellness aesthetics. The design system pairs a deep royal blue with warm yellow accents and crisp white typography to communicate energy, precision, and trust. Bold editorial photography is woven throughout the interface to keep the experience feeling aspirational and human, while the restrained use of color ensures data and progress metrics always remain the focal point. The result is a brand identity that feels as capable as the hardware it supports.

Information Architecture
BandPass presented a unique UX challenge: designing an experience that bridges a physical hardware device with a feature-rich mobile platform, for users ranging from casual exercisers to performance-focused athletes. Kayen Peppa structured the information architecture around four core pillars — device setup, exercise guidance, progress tracking, and personal reporting — each with a clear entry point and a logical flow that never requires the user to think twice about where to go next. The onboarding sequence walks users through Bluetooth pairing and initial device calibration with minimal friction, using step-by-step guidance and contextual photography to build confidence before the first workout. The exercise library balances depth and discoverability, allowing users to filter by muscle group, difficulty, and band configuration while surfacing relevant recommendations based on recent activity. The reporting system translates raw band strain data into clear weekly summaries, asymmetry analysis, and progress trends — giving users the kind of structured feedback that keeps them coming back.
